Our story
From Kemet to the sea
Kemet, “the black land”, is the ancient name for Egypt, after the dark silt the Nile left behind. Egyptians moved goods by river and sea for thousands of years.
Kemar carries that heritage into modern shipping. For more than 21 years our team has attended vessels, supplied ships and moved cargo through Damietta, Alexandria, Sokhna, Port Said and Suez.
Now we are building on that experience with technology: rate comparison across carriers, document checks before filing, live reefer monitoring and proactive alerts. And still a person who confirms every booking, in Arabic or English.
